We offer a huge range of different activities for both young and old. All are aimed at building community, strengthening family relationships and meeting the needs of the whole man holistically - in body, soul and spirit. Our aim is to help everyone become all that God wants them to be.


Book

Enhance your spiritual growth with a rich and varied diet of Christian literature. Whether you are a new or mature Christian or an honest seeker after God, we've got books to help you find the answers to life's questions and challenges.

Children's Choir

Does your child like singing? Is he or she aged three to 12? If so, we want to hear from you. Our Sunday School Children's Choir sing their hearts out both in and outside the church, so helping us in our mission of transforming people's lives. The current choir coordinators are Sisters Lape Akinpelu, Toyin Yusuf and Esther Umude.

Child Dedication

Would you like us to have your child dedicated to God? This is a simple ceremony in which we bless and commit the child to God, asking for the protection and guidance of the Lord Jesus as the child grows to maturity. Our hope is that as the child comes of age he or she will make a personal commitment to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Counselling

Everyone experiences difficulties at some point in their life. Often counselling can help, showing a way forward. We offer counselling to anyone experiencing relationship difficulties, either at work or in their personal life. We also offer marriage counselling.

Crèche

Let us look after your children while you enjoy one of our services. Our crèche caters for babies and children under three. We provide snacks and drinks and we've got lots of toys, books, tapes and videos to make their stay with us a fun and enjoyable time. For details contact the church office.

Discipleship Group

Are you a new Christian? If so, our Discipleship Group has been designed specifically for you. It offers a range of services including support from trained counsellors and a structured programme to help you explore basic Christian concepts and how to grow in your new-found faith.

Keep Fit Classes and Health Promotion Project

Our Keep Fit classes are both good fun and free. They are held every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7.00 pm. Join in, make new friends and stay fit and healthy. There are also special one-off sessions on health and diet.

Lighthouse Education Service (LES)

This is the church's social action and community outreach ministry. It aims to make a lasting difference to lives in the community through education, training, development and other life-enhancing initiatives. Please click here for more information.

Lighthouse Saturday & Music School

Do your children need extra help with their education? Our Saturday School teaches English Language, Mathematics and Science to children aged from 4 to 16+ years. It runs from 9am to 12pm on Saturdays (term time only). The Music school teaches basic keyboard skills. Classes run on Saturdays (term time only) from 12pm to 4pm. Marriage

We offer counselling aimed at helping couples to overcome marital conflict and to strengthen and enrich their relationship. Please contact our church office for more information.

Men's Fellowship

This is a men's group which meets regularly to encourage one another into a closer relationship with God, through prayer and fellowship.

Nursery

The James Kane Nursery has spaces for up to 32 children aged two to five. It has been running for more than ten years and is open 50 weeks of the year, five days a week from 8.00 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. For information regarding fees, please contact the nursery manager on 020 7820 0054.

On-line Homework Club

Help your kids stay safe, have fun and do their homework. Our homework club places particular emphasis on information technology, for example helping children research topics online. It is designed to help meet key educational objectives of raising standards. It is open Monday to Friday (term time only) from 3.30pm to 6.00pm and has places for up to 50 children. Prayers of Intercession

We offer a Ministry of prayer and intercession for all. Prayer has power over everything. And our prayers make a difference in how God acts in our Church, families and lives. If you would like to have prayer made for you please email your request to:- prayers@apostolic-anc.org

Sunday School

We run a Sunday School for children aged three to 12. Its aim is to teach children about God through the Bible, music, drama, games and other learning activities.

The Choir

The vision of the choir is to be a spirit empowered ministry that touches and transforms lives through gospel music in and outside the church. For more information, please contact the church office.

Truth in Action

This is our drama ministry. It seeks to bring alive the word of God through a variety of sketches, music, dance and poetry. Do you have acting talents? If so, we'd love to hear from you. You could use your talents to inspire and heal others.

Women's Fellowship

This is for women of the ANC and all who have a desire to grow spiritually, share common concerns and pray and support each other. There are several wings of Women's Fellowship - Young Wives Forum, We Care Fellowship, Wednesday prayer group and many more. For more details, contact the church office.

Youth Cell Network

Our youth cells are small groups of young people who meet regularly to share, study the Bible, pray and support one another. They are also a great way to build deep and lasting friendships. To find out more, contact the church office click here.

Youth Football

If you can bend it like Beckham, our youth football team would love to hear from you. Please contact our Church office for more information.

Youth Mentoring

We run a successful mentoring scheme to help our young people become responsible members of society. We teach valuable life skills, encouraging personal initiative, integrity and responsibility. Our mission is to raise God-loving, young people of influence who will make a positive difference to their generation.

Youth Ministry

New Wave Ministries is our youth department. It offers a wide range of activities to help young people grow in God and develop into mature and effective members of society. Activities include concerts, prayer meetings, overseas mission, counselling, sports and other forms of recreation.
