Prayer is the Master Key

Prayer is the Master Key

The ANC Ladies met on Sunday afternoon to commit all our plans for the year to God’s hands.

Sis Sandra introduced the meeting and the theme, “The Kept Woman of God” coming from Psalm 121:7. Prayer began with thanksgiving!

Upcoming Program for 2023

Sis Gbemi led in prayer about the coming year’s programs, referring to and praying from Psalm 91. According to 2 Tim 1:14 – we are instructed to keep (guard) what is entrusted to us as women.

Our Ministries

Sis Helen led us to pray about our ministries. We pray as Kept Women of God, that He would take care of our ministries. Ministry is not about being on the platform but standing with people, supporting, providing, and doing whatever we do in the Name of our God. Pray that the Lord will guide and guard all our ministries. According to Isaiah 41:13, we must remember that God will never let us go or let us down.

Our Marriages and Our Singleness

Sis Sherryl focused on Genesis 28:15 – We focus on God’s keeping power to maintain all our relationships. It is also important to maintain your peace in every circumstance, and we pray that the Lord helps you do that.

Our Children

Sis Oluwafunmilayo led us to pray for our children. We should take the example of Miriam, the sister of Moses, who had to look after her brother in silence. Esther was a woman of a woman who knew the wisdom of times and seasons. We should pray that we have the composure and the wisdom of these woman as we pray about our children. Pray that God will give the children of the kept woman extraordinary strength to face their challenges.

Being Kept in our Mind

Sis Dee brought into a place of trusting God for our mind. Ps 121 We pray that the Lord will preserve our minds, even as we face the battle of the flesh against the Spirit. As in Isaiah 26:3 we pray that our minds remain steadfast on the Lord. The mind is not on its own, therefore we pray that the Lord would keep our bodies, soul and mind.

Our minds must not be divided, but instead we do have the power to control what we think. When the enemy bring negative things to us, our children, our health, we have the word that the Lord will keep us. When they thoughts come, consider 2 Timothy 1:7 and know that He had already given you a spirit of power, love and a sound mind.

To set our minds in the correct thoughts, we must know the Word of God and it must dwell in us. Pray that we continue to meditate on the Word and that it will cause us to rest and think good thoughts.
