Health Awareness Event 2023

The health awareness event 2023 brings together the MindCare project, the Ascension Trust’s Beacon project and Lambeth public health.

This event seeks to raise awareness of health issues amongst minority communities in South London. We will be engaging speakers and workshops throughout the afternoon. There will be opportunities to speak with professionals or be signposted to services you may not realise exist to help and support you.

The MindCare project is a ministry of the All Nations’ Centre. Health professionals that you can trust that seek to support you through difficult times.

The Beacon Project is a ministry of the Ascension Trust. They seek to serve and listen to communities to build trust. They network with public health, local GP practices, borough-based practice nurse forums, pharmacies and local support groups.

The London Borough of Lambeth’s public health department will also be on hand to provide helpful local advice.

The health awareness event 2023 is free to attend. Refreshments will be available. The London Congestion Charge is active from midday until 6 pm.
