Pastors Alan Skene and Simon Taylor are currently on a Missions trip to Sri Lanka. This trip is momentous as TAC Sri Lanka becomes an Autonomous National Church, the Sri Lankan Apostolic Church being first planted 62 years ago.
Pastors Alan and Simon led a prayer session on 26th April, directly from the field today. ACUK IHoP was able to join via Zoom, TAC Sri Lanka to see Pastor Alan preaching and were able to exchange greetings with the Sri Lankan leaders.
The ReACh Asia prayer meetings will join the International House of Prayer meeting on the last Saturday of each month to continue to lift up all the Mission work undertaken in Asia before the throne of God! The next meeting will be on Saturday 31st May 2025.
Prayer points:
- Diligence in leaders to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- New emerging generation of leaders
- The vision of the movement of 200 churches to plant 10,000 churches in Sri Lanka
- For protection of the Sri Lankan Pentecostal movement from hostility and persecution of churches by both Buddhists and Catholics.
- For Alan and Simon’s health strength and their safe return home.
- Provision of adequate meeting and growing spaces for churches, only 20% of whom have buildings and also for provision of needed resources for Sri Lankan leadership training/Bible school.
- Pastors Alan and Simon thank you for your continued prayers and request your continued prayers on the above points. We know that our God hears and answers us when we pray. Amen.
