Ministry Update November 2024 – Pastor Sunil – India

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I hope this message finds you in good health.

I am writing to share with you the latest updates from our ministry, which, by God’s grace, continues to flourish. In October – November, I embarked on a mission trip to Marrikunta village, 500 miles from my hometown of Hyderabad. The experience was profoundly moving, as I had the opportunity to preach about Christ Crucified and the importance of Holiness. Witnessing nearly 150 people respond to the Gospel was heartening, a clear testament to the Lord’s presence and power among us.

Pastoral Training

Our ongoing theological classes for emerging leaders and pastors are progressing well. I have focused on bibliology while another esteemed professor delves into the Old Testament. The students are gaining deep insights into theology, essential for their one-year leadership training in biblical theology. Please keep these future church leaders in your prayers that our teachings may not be in vain but bear fruit for their benefit and the greater glory of God.

Women’s Retreat and Other Events

On the 31st of October, we held a women’s retreat attended by nearly 120 participants. My mother, Esther, the Senior Pastor, led the sessions on women’s empowerment through Christ Jesus. The event was a great success, with many expressing how much they enjoyed and benefited from the meetings.

In addition to these events, I have been visiting and ministering to our New Life Foundation Ministries’ various district pastors during their monthly fellowship meetings, helping to equip them and monitor their progress in ministry. Our local church ministry is also thriving, with an increasing number of new attendees. However, we face the challenge of insufficient space to accommodate everyone. We are praying fervently for the resources to build a new church building on the first floor, with plans to commence construction in 2025, God willing.

Next week, I will be travelling to Pakala town in Andhra Pradesh State, a round trip of 1400 miles from Hyderabad. This area is known for its restrictions on the Christian faith, so I ask for your prayers for protection and guidance.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers. May the Lord bless you abundantly.

In His Grace,
Sunil K. Pinninty
