Pastor Sunil Pinninty writes, “I am thankful to share with you how the Lord has been working in Odisha, in the eastern part of India. During our mission trip to that state in 2023, we planted a church that began with just three people. Odisha is known as one of the most highly persecuted regions for the Christian faith, yet in the midst of great challenges, people are continuing to come to Christ. Today marks a very special occasion it has been exactly three years since that church was planted and they are joyfully celebrating their anniversary.
One of our pastors, who also serves as the state coordinator of New Life Foundation Ministries is preaching and leading worship during this celebration”.

- Please continue to uphold this ministry in your prayers that the light of the Gospel may shine even brighter in Odisha despite opposition.
Pastor Sunil Pinninty also writes, “while two pastors were preaching the Gospel in Oduru village, Penumantra Mandal, West Godavari District, an incident occurred in which a man from a Hindu group attacked the pastors and damaged their bicycle and microphone system”.
Please pray:
- That these pastors will not be discouraged by this experience.
- For protection for the pastors and their equipment as they seek to spread the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ
- For peace and safety in future preaching engagements
- For the attackers that their hearts may be transformed and they may come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour as God did with Saul.
