TAC Luton Assembly – Word of Faith Centre (WoFC) established an outreach presence in the town centre during Easter Saturday, 8 April 2023.
The assembly had joined the Walk of Witness on Good Friday morning with Churches Together in Luton. This involved members of the assembly carrying a cross through the town centre.
They preached the Gospel outside the Luton Town Hall. Later, they planted the Cross outside St Mary’s Church by the University of Bedfordshire. Afterwards, they sang hymns and broadcast scripture readings. They used a low-bearing tree in the front yard for hanging prayer requests and thanksgiving written on ribbons. In this way, they declared the power of our God to answer prayer.
The Word of Faith Centre is no stranger to outreach and mission
The Word of Faith Centre has been involved with various charities. These charities are close to the heart of the assembly. Some of these charities have been receiving spiritual, financial, material gifts and manpower support from assembly members for many years now.
The Junior Church supports Compassion UK. Founded in 1952, Compassion is a leading Christian children’s charity focusing on fighting poverty through sponsorship.
The assembly supports Operation Christmas Child, operated by Samaritan Purse, and is an active member of the Luton Street Pastors.
As part of The Apostolic Church (TAC), WoFC also supports The Apostolic Church World Missions: One World, One Mission!
