What are you listening to? Be careful how you listen to the Lord this morning. Join us as we seek to understand the leading of our God and King and respond to the mercy bought for us at the Cross.
The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.
Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.
Prayer
Take time to thank and praise God. Consider all the things you have prayed for, and how the Lord has answered. People have been raised from their comas, and bad situations have been turned away.
Intercede on behalf of those who:
- are sick and bereaved.
- feel the pressure of the current world and struggle to handle it.
- desire to be married.
Be Careful How You Listen
Elder Charles spoke to us about the power of listening! What people say out loud is not always the truth. We must listen to avoid destroying people, and we must listen to hear what is not being said.
What do you need to speak to the person who needs to talk? Time – if we are not patient, how can we hear the cry for help? Consider Isaiah 50:4b.
Homework
Are you useful? To whom? How are you useful. Who told you that you were useful? What does it mean to be useful? Consider what was said of John Mark in 2 Timothy 4:11.
