How Do You Recognise Acceptable Service? – Saturday Morning Prayer

Practical, acceptable service is recognisable when you see things that need doing, and you do it! Join us as we seek to understand our acceptance, discover more about our acceptable service to the King of kings and respond to His appointment.

The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.

Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.

Prayer

Chorus – In the Morning

Will you take time to rise and praise the Lord this morning?

Take time to consider what you are about to say and do and commit them to the Lord: Psalm 19:14

Hymns – Breath on me, Breath of GodO Thou Who hast come from above

Pray through the words as you consider what “Acceptable Service” is this morning.

How Do You Recognise Acceptable Service?

Consider the practical realities of acceptable service. Are your eyes open to see what needs to be done? When you see it, do you do it or walk by?

Take time to pray on behalf of those who are in distress.

Where are the days of power?

Please pray for our sister, who is not well. The husband has asked for prayer. Continue to pray for them, that he should not be troubled, that she would remain calm, that healing would work in her life, and they should not feel abandoned.

The conclusion of the matter?

“So how should we serve the Lord? First, make sure that your motivation is right. You serve Him because of His great mercies toward you in the gospel. That motivation moves you not to be lazy but diligent in serving Him. Serving Christ becomes your passion, so that you do it fervently. And remember that you’re serving none other than the Lord Himself. The mercies God has bestowed on us call us to diligent, fervent service for the Lord.”
