How do you reflect? Saturday Morning Prayer

How do you reflect? What is your process of reflection? Come ready, willing and able, and join us as we seek to understand the leading of our God and King and respond to the mercy bought for us at the Cross.

The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.

Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.

Prayer

Chorus: I will Lift Up Your Name – Lift up the Name of the Lord.

See Psalm 139:23-24 and ask the Lord to search your heart. Ask Him to cleanse your heart so that nothing may hinder your gathering together.

Ask the Lord that people will know breakthroughs in this month.

Pray for the youth and our young ones. Lord, ignite a passion for the word in their lives for this upcoming convention. Ask the Lord to bless the convention, giving us journeying mercies for travelling to Kennington for the convention.

Empowered to confront and conquer shame! Thank the Lord for the anointing to do this. Ask the Lord to clothe us with beauty and dignity.

“I am not what shame says I am, I am what You say I am: I am righteous, I am rooted in You and You have restored me.” Bless the Lord this morning.

Pray for those who are sick, that the Lord would restore them.

Commit the Sunday Service into the Lord’s hands, that He would make all things go well and bless all the people.

On the Subject of Shame

Has what you have heard in sermons resounded with you? Can you come up with a slogan that represents what you have taken in?

“The Sheep Hear My Voice” Have you seen this video on how sheep recognise their master’s voice?

Spiritual Song: I don’t know why Jesus love me

He cares enough for you that He calls out to you, speaks to you, sends His angels to take charge over you.

How do you reflect?

Psalm 45:1-9

“I recite my composition…” The write first composed, and then recited. Encourage yourself to take on this challenge of composing and reciting.

Take time to read through these verses and pray.

Homework

Use Psalm 45:1-9 and compose something – just a few lines – and bring it with you next week to encourage.
