Let Us Not Be Ashamed – Saturday Morning Prayer

Let us not be ashamed. Instead, come and exalt the greatness of our God! Come ready, willing and able, and join us as we seek to understand the leading of our God and King and respond to the mercy bought for us at the Cross.

The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.

Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.

Please note: There is no prayer meeting next Saturday, 7 June 2025.

Prayer

Lift up your voices to praise the God who provides all things.

Invite the Holy Spirit to come into our presence this morning.

Give this morning’s men’s conference into the Lord’s hands. The theme is the restoration of the wasted years. Ask the Lord to minister to all families and do a work of restoration.

Pray for those who are sick. Ask the Lord to bring a full healing.

Finally, take time to pray for the upcoming celebration next week.

Let Us Not Be Ashamed

Do we intend to bring someone down? Consider Psalm 25:1-2. If the Lord wants to glorify us, then those who want to make us ashamed are fighting with God. Consider the prayer in Psalm 31:17.

Ready through Isaiah 54:1-8 and pray these verses into your life and the life of those mired in shame. People bring shame into our lives through abuse, or shaming in school or in church brings shame into our lives. Walking away from the Lord and returning leads to consequences, even though we know we are forgiven. The Lord does not desire us to live in that shame.

Declare: We will not be shamed. Consider also that we should not shame Jesus with our conduct. Work with the Lord in building up your brothers and sister.
