Praise God for his mercy and grace.
Chorus: I will bless the Lord.
Thank the Lord for keeping us this week until now.
Hymn: My Faith has found a resting place
Praise the Lord for journeying mercies that brought our loved ones and brothers/sister home. Thank the Lord for healing of those who have returned from hospital.
Pray for those who are bereaved, that the Lord would bring comfort, wipe away tears and instill peace in their hearts.
Ask the Lord to remove any spirit of fear and any spirit that desires blood, and to bring the spirit of wickedness to nothing in our cities and towns.
Pray for peace and sanity among world leaders, that God would have His way amongst them. Ask the Lord to bring peace into every arena in the world where there is war. Pray for the safety of every area you reside in.
Hold up the London leadership conference occurring next week. Pray for every leader, that the Lord would strengthen and lift up the leaders that attend to be effective in their ministry and powerful to bring life.
Pray for yourself. Ask the Lord to strengthen your spiritual sensitivity, that you may see what is happening around you. Then you will know how to stand strong for your family and community.
Present your needs before the Lord. Cast your burdens upon Him, for He cares for you.
Appellations of God
What does it stir up in you when you hear “The Ancient of Days” or “The God who never lost a battle?” Invoke him into your circumstances in prayer.
Ownership
Understanding “Ownership” in God’s Kingdom in the natural sense, ownership means taking responsibility, authority, and care for something as though it is yours. But in the Kingdom of God, ownership begins with the understanding that everything belongs to God: “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” — Psalm 24:1 So, Christian ownership is not possession but stewardship with a personal sense of responsibility. It is knowing that what belongs to God has been entrusted to you, and you treat it with reverence, diligence, and love.
Being active not passive Christians: In certain industries it is said: “Don’t just walk past something that might cause an accident but do something about it!” The World is crying our for owners.
Hymn: In heav’nly love abiding
From Genesis 4 we see that God demanded ownership – the taking of responsibility. Owners care! They do not walk past.
Scripture: John 10:11-16 Are you a hireling?
It is a blessing to be surrounded by people who take up ownership. You know the work will be done.
What do you Have in your Store House?
Scriptures: Matthew 13:52, Isaiah 50:4
The Lord brings to you morning by morning to put in your treasury. Freshness and the things that stand the test of time. They are given for ministry.
How is your treasury? Do you bring fresh revelation? Are you steadied by eternal truths?
