The Saturday Morning Prayer Meeting welcomes everyone to the banquet table. The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. Zoom details can be found on this page.
Do also remember to join the War Room Prayer. Click here for more details.
Hymn: Lord of all being, throned afar. See the YouTube video.
Consider the origin of the song “I will always love you.” It’s not a love song. We should always be ready to bless the people around us.
Discipline, Effective and Efficient
Sis Anna Adu speaks on the discipline of prayer.
ACTS: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication!
After listening to the talk, pray that you can settle yourself into a discipline in prayer.
There are connotations behind the word “discipline.” There are also dangers: Legalism can lead to bondage. We must be disciplined but not in bondage.
Our God is good!
What declarations are on your heart this morning?
Consider what Balak, king of Moab, did in calling Balaam to curse Israel. Pray that the Lord will force the mouths of the Balaams to declare blessings and not curses.
Prayer
“You are the Lord; let Your name be glorified!”
Declare the Lordship of Jesus over all things – the platform, our lives, and this country!
Pray for:
The election of a new Conservative Leader who will become our Prime Minister: We ask the Lord for a PM to help us serve God with liberty and freedom as believers.
The activities of the All Nations’ Centre during August: We ask that the Lord would go ahead of us. The events will be a great success, and the believers will be unified and strengthened.
The War in Ukraine: Ask the Lord to enter the hearts of leaders involved in the conflict so that he may bring this war to an end and may peace reign!
The ANC building project: May the Lord grant wisdom and protection for the builders. Ask the Lord to cancel every plan that intends to stand against the project.
Everyone who comes to this prayer meeting: Ask the Lord for an encounter that no one will leave the same way.
The Women’s conference being held today: Pray that the Lord will be present in the meeting.
