Saturday Morning Prayer – Our God of Mercy

Homework

Next week, each person should come with a poem, a prayer, a short message or an exhortation on the subject: “God, teach me Your ways!”

The Prayers of the Saints

What prayers did you pray this week? Listen and be encouraged by the prayers of the saints and their testimonies!

From Isaiah 61:1-3 we declared the power of God over all those who were bound. We often do not know how people feel when we meet them, even in church. Therefore, we set our hearts in line with scripture to build up, to encourage, to lift!

On the Hebrew root of our faith, part 2: Solutions

  1. Re-look at our relationship with the Old Testament: Understand its true purpose – Luke 24:25-27, Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 4:5-6, 2 Timothy 3:14-15
  2. Dealing with casual Anti-Semitism: Jacob – True exegesis, not rehashing old tropes – Gen 25:20-34, Gen 26:34-35, Gen 27-33
  3. Not being afraid of Jewish God-Given culture – Leviticus 23, Deuteronomy 16, Numbers 15:37-41, Leviticus 23:21
  4. Understanding and accepting each one’s place in God’s plan – 1 Corinthians 7:17-24, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27,  Joel 3
  5. Do not underestimate the true power of the Gospel: do not delegate to worldly ideals – Micah 6:8, Luke 19:45-47, John 2:14-16
