Preparing to return to in-person services, we have a day of prayer and fasting at the end of October. Plan from now to be there.
Prayer
After praising the Lord (For God has Become our Salvation – Psalm 118:4), start with a prayer for Godly, capable leadership in the UK.
Our contractors are progressing with the building project at pace. Pray for the successful completion of the project. Also, pray for what happens after they complete the project. It is not about bricks and mortar; it is about the body that inhabits the building! Consider everyone whose circumstances have pulled them apart by anything during these months. Pray that they may find the strength to unite with their brethren.
In Preparation
Pray in preparation that the Lord comes into your space and makes it pleasant. This way, you are prepared to accept what the Lord is ready to pour into your spirit.
Speak out a verse of scripture or a hymn. Find something the Lord has done in these Saturday meetings, and praise God for it!
Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7 – There are many essential phrases in these scriptures. Consider them and speak them into your life!
Will you be Remembered for Good
Consider these scriptures: Esther 6:1-3 – Nehemiah 5:19 – Galatians 6:7-9. If you do good, will those you bless not remember you? Consider what you do. If you do nothing in the Church, who will remember you?
Take time to pray for our sister whose mother is not well and our sister who must travel to her mother’s side!
