Saturday Morning Prayer – Teach me Thy Ways, O Lord

The prayer meeting begins, as always, with the lead of the Spirit in prayer.

Homework

There are many things in the current world that darken our doors. Yet we are not at the place where we are betrayed and handed up to be executed. When that time comes, what will bind us to one another? What will keep us together? Think and bring a contribution to the thought: “In a throwaway culture, what things should bind us together?” Consider only things that are good. For guidance on this see Philippians 4:8.

Reflection

Take time aside to reflect on the Lord’s love for you, using this worship song:

Ties that Bind!

Brother John Livingston brought to us a word based on Judges 11:30-39 concerning the Ties that Bind.

Teach me Thy Ways, O Lord

We shared what the Lord has put on our hearts regarding this subject.

Hymn: Teach me thy way, O Lord

Prayer

Firewood:

Pray that:

  • The Holy Spirit will be over us as we pray, to lead us in what we need to pray for
  • We are the Light of the World – may the world see that special light
  • Whatever needs to stand still for the victory to be complete would be fixed, even to the Sun and the Moon
  • We should know the guidance of Almighty God
  • In thanks that we are blessed in abundance
  • In thanks that we know the pillar of cloud and fire
