Prayer

Out thanksgiving is the beginning of our desire to worship. It opens the door to greater communication. Begin your prayer with thanksgiving!

Consider the Watch Night prophecy and pray

  • we will be determined to come together to learn from each other and especially our leaders.
  • we may have humility and a teachable spirit!
  • God takes you to the next level in Him.
  • He equips you with His power, authority and directive for the task ahead.
  • God helps to put on the whole armour of God.
  • to grow stronger and avoid discouragement and weariness when we take the territories assigned to us.

What Happens When We Pray?

Participants shared their views on what happens when we pray. We also received a word of prophecy, the audio of which you will find at the end of the podcast.

Prophetic Word

Sis Victoria Babetunde spoke the following:

My people I have come into your midst.

Today, I’ve already prepared myself to speak to you. May I let you know that I, the Lord your God, I want to bring you to a place of power, a place of power that you have not experienced before.

I want to pour upon you the Spirit of Revelation. To know things before it actually takes place. And when it takes place, you will be surprised because you have already seen, you have already received. I want you to be in a place where you have already been prepared.

And to be prepared is to wait, to wait and listen to me as I speak to you. Not only that you will hear but I will open your eyes to see! To see things that you have never experienced before! Not things concerning you alone, not things concerning your church alone, is about things concerning the world. So that when you see things happening around you, you will not have any need to fear but to speak into the situation. That is the place I want to put you. That is the power I want to pour upon you.

I have spoken and now that I have spoken, it is now you, it is now for you to prepare yourself. And how would do prepare yourself, my people? It’s for you to wait, it’s for you to pray, it’s for you to study my word because I will speak. I have spoken and I have said I have spoken.

I will bring my word to come to pass. But if only you will wait, wait and seek my face and I will reveal myself to you. Here again my people, I am ready to pour my Spirit, Spirits of revelation on each and every one of you, and you will be surprised of what you will see: The wondrous work that your Lord your God will do in your midst, says the voice of the Lord.

The discussion around this passage is in line with the theme for the first quarter: “I Will Build My Church!”

Take time to listen to all the resources and pray about them in your life. God has invited us to prayer!
