Prayer

There is power in the Name of Jesus!

We need to pray for those where sickness has dogged them. Some illnesses are dragging on, yet there is healing for them.

Some people find themselves under burdens they cannot escape. The enemy has them bound with chains of fear and every spiritual attack. Pray for God to rise up in their lives and release them.

The season’s theme is “The Role, Operations and Manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the Life of the Church” – pray that the little habits that wear away at our love for God will be broken and taken away. Our visits to the church services must not be fruitless.

Changes are coming soon! We are starting our services earlier on a Sunday and rededicating the building to the Glory of God! Pray that we will be fully behind these changes. Ask for God’s grace to transform our minds at the same time. Intercede for the planners and the participants so that everyone who sees it will praise God at the end!

The Role, Operations and Manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the Life of the Church

Our focus is on the power of the Holy Spirit. He touches us in different ways, but always in power. We once saw these in our own lives. We want to see those days return.

Where God dwells, there He makes holy. Consider the many prayers and testimonies presented at the meeting.

Reflect on the statement: “Holiness is not what you do, holiness is what you are!”

Homework

How can you tell if someone is Holy?

The processes to holiness. Consider the following scriptures: “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:” – Hebrews 12:14 “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” – Matthew 15:11  How can we grow in holiness? Take time to reflect and write something down. Bring it next week.
