Reflect: Who do you listen to? Who gets through to you, because you respect them and value their insight in the matters of life’s decisions? One who can tell you to reconsider! Do you listen to any counsel?
Homework: Write something cryptic on Wisdom! Put together a one or two line advertisement/promotion of wisdom, just like it is done in Proverbs! “Wisdom says…”
- What is missing? Wisdom? (James 1:5)
- First love? (Revelation 2:4-5)
- Lack of Commitment? (Nehemiah 2:18)
- Passion for God? (Romans 12:11)
- Lack of collaboration with someone who will tell you what is missing? (Eph 5:22-28, James 5:16)
We are reminded of the action words in the prophetic words spoken to us on Watch Night! “as you raise your banner,” “declare,” “shout,” “sing it,” “as your raise,” “as you hold my banner”… We must do something!
