The Character of David – Saturday Morning Prayer

Is there a greater inspiration than the character of David, son of Jesse? He is a reflection of both strength and weakness in trusting God. Join us as we declare our dependence on our God and King. The Saturday Morning Prayer meeting is ready to receive like-minded hearts.

The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.

Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.

Prayer

Chorus: We have come to be touched by the Lord.

Acknowledge the Lord God this morning by giving thanks and declaring His covering over you. Take time to appreciate and thank the Lord.

What is the purpose of prayer? Take time to reflect on this question before continuing.

The Character of David

Deaconess Pat Adekoya spoke on the character of King David, son of Jesse.

Deaconess Dupe led the resulting discussion.

Consider Romans 8:32: “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Pray and affirm this statement of the Lord’s provision. Listen to this song: Wonderful, Merciful Saviour.

Homework

Can we disassociate the person who brings ministry from the God of the ministry? Why should this situation arise? Why should we ever have to make this decision?
