The Soul’s Blood – Saturday Morning Prayer

As the body relies on blood so the soul depends on prayer. Join us as we seek the face of the Lord in His strength rather than our own. The Saturday Morning Prayer meeting is ready to receive like-minded hearts.

The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.

Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.

Prayer

Take time to praise God for His covering power. He provides all things.

Understanding that we have no strength of our own, we rely on His strength.

Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant

When would we give this attestation? When a man is found to be faithful!

Can you think of one way in which we ought to be faithful?

  • Devotion to God
  • Our Giving
  • Our relationships – especially our marriages
  • Coming to church
  • Using our talents  and abilities,
  • Our dealings with one another
  • Respecting one another,
  • Your word (yes should be yes)
  • Administering what God has given us
  • Leadership

Consider: Is it important?

Be Strong in the Lord

How can I be strong in the Lord without prayer?

Consider George Herberts poem on prayer. “As the body relies on blood, so the soul depends on prayer.”

Consider 2 Chronicles 16:7-10. “I am only as strong as I allow God to be strong on my behalf! My strength in any given situation is perfectly proportionate on how much I allow God into my life’s matters.” How much do these statements echo in our lives?

Pray for one another that we may be strong in the power of his might.
