We give thanks for the week of Mission London 2023. Thank the Lord for the strength to go out in rain and wind and to bring a bountiful harvest of souls for Jesus.
It is the Holy Spirit that guides, provides wisdom, and strengthens. Pray that every believer will experience a fresh in-filling of the Spirit. Consider also elders, pastors and other leaders that they, being carriers of love, knowledge and care, be protected and strengthened.
Pray for understanding what it means not to drop the baton. There is a perfect time to pass the baton, and we must know what we carry to pass it on.
A Question
If you had a baton to pass on, what baton would you pass on to somebody?
Love for God. Good behaviour. Evangelism. Selfless Service. Faith. Constant Praise. Commitment. Fear of God. Care. Worship leading to Service. Prayer. Intercessory Prayer. Word of God. Growing the Word of God and Grace.
Pray on these things. What has the Lord given you to pass on?
