Wednesday, 20th August is set aside for us to pray and fast as one body in preparation for our annual convention, which is happening from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August. You can choose a full-day fast or pray and fast for half the day, whatever the Lord leads you to do. Set aside intentional time to seek God’s heart and ask Him to move powerfully in every detail of the convention.

Prayer Points to Guide You
If you aren’t quite sure what to pray for, here are some ideas:
- Pray that God will stir hearts as invitations, videos, and flyers go out, drawing people to attend the convention
- Lift up our speaker and every person taking part in one way or another, asking God to anoint their words and worship and service for maximum impact
- Ask that God be glorified in every conversation, song, sermon, and moment of fellowship
- The enemy doesn’t want us to be salt and light and will do his best to stop us. Pray for the divine covering of the blood of Jesus and that every weapon formed to stop us from attending this divine appointment with God will not prosper.Â
- Pray that as we leave the convention and go into our rapidly changing world we would be empowered to shine the light of Jesus and be salt in our various settings.

When we unite in prayer and fasting, we align our hearts with God’s purposes. Your time of seeking Him on 20th August will set the tone for our weekend together; shaping lives, equipping us for ministry, and glorifying God in all we do.
