Theme: Be Safe. Remind Them of These Things – Life can feel overwhelming. Between family pressures, work demands, and personal expectations, it’s easy to feel drained. However, in those moments of weakness, we discover a powerful truth; our strength doesn’t come from ourselves.
Human strength runs out. Thankfully, God’s strength never does.
This week, Elder Sam Sampah reminds us that as followers of Christ, we must stay strong in the Lord. Our greatest power flows from our connection with Jesus, not from our performance. When we rely on Him, we receive spiritual strength that enables us to stand firm, remain faithful, and live righteously, no matter what life throws our way.
So, how do we access this strength?
- First, we depend on God through prayer, trust, and surrender.
- Then, we stop striving and start abiding—rooted in humility and trust.
- As we acknowledge our limits, we draw from God’s limitless grace.
Being strong in the Lord means shifting focus from what we can control to who God is. His faithfulness, love, and power work through us. God provides the strength; our role is to stay connected.
Spiritual strength isn’t optional: It’s essential! Proverbs 25:28 says, “Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls.” Without God’s strength, our lives remain vulnerable.

Be Strong in the Lord
Join Us
We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
