Children’s Day Celebration: Highlights

“All good gifts around us

Are sent from heav’n above;

Then thank the Lord, oh, thank the Lord,

For all His love.”

Children’s Day was truly a joyous and memorable occasion filled with heartfelt moments and inspiring contributions from our Junior Church. Despite a few technical hiccups, the children led a powerful service, showing just how much energy, passion and faith they bring to our community. From the oldest to the youngest, their involvement made it clear—these children truly are our future! Their passion for worship and learning continues to inspire us all.

One of the most touching moments of the service was the special presentation made by National Children’s Director, Mrs. Marcia Ogunji, who honoured our dear sister and mother, Mercy Oyelola, for her many years of faithful service in children’s ministry. Her commitment and dedication have impacted countless lives, and we are incredibly grateful for her contribution.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible work of our Junior Church leaders, educators, and assistants, who pour their time and energy into nurturing the next generation. We thank God for their service, knowing how essential their role is in guiding our children in faith and growth.

As we reflect on this wonderful celebration, let’s continue to pray for our children and their leaders. If you feel led to serve in this vital ministry, we warmly encourage you to reach out to Brother Theo or Elder Eddie—your support can make a lasting difference!

Children’s Day Service

Join Us

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
