Doctrine Matters

Theme: Lessons in Spiritual Warfare – Spiritual warfare describes the ongoing battles Christians face against invisible forces. These battles impact our daily lives. Many believers either over‑emphasise or under‑emphasise this reality. Both extremes create danger. Therefore, we pursue a balanced and biblical view.

The first message in this series urged us to stay alert and recognise the devices the enemy uses to steal, kill, or destroy. One of the most effective devices is false teaching. False doctrine pulls you away from God’s truth and pushes you towards ideas that contradict Scripture. Because of this, we must guard our hearts and minds with intention.

This week, Pastor Edwin Bajomo builds on that foundation. He explains the strategy and tactics the enemy uses to push believers off God’s path. He also gives us practical Christian tactics that strengthen our ability to resist. Moreover, he offers a simple litmus test that helps us identify truth from error quickly and confidently.

Sound doctrine matters because it shapes our spiritual resilience. When we understand God’s word, we stand firm. When we recognise deception, we shut the enemy down. As we continue this series, we grow in discernment, courage, and clarity. Most importantly, we learn how to fight spiritual battles with wisdom, authority, and victory.

Doctrine Matters

Join Us

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
