Theme: Empowered to Confront and Conquer Shame – In the final message of this powerful series, Pastor Bayo Olufemi draws a vital distinction: guilt leads us to repentance and restoration through God’s forgiveness, while shame traps us in feelings of inadequacy. Unlike guilt, shame isolates, forcing us into hiding, away from community and purpose.
Yet, God comforts us in His word: In Joel 2:25–27, He promises that His people “shall never be put to shame.” This isn’t just comfort—it’s a call to freedom.
From the beginning, shame entered through disobedience. Adam and Eve, realising their nakedness, reached for fig leaves (temporary coverings that couldn’t last). Today, many still reach for fragile substitutes. But God offers something enduring: the garment of praise to replace the spirit of heaviness.
Leaders especially face the weight of shame, often feeling exposed or unworthy. Still, God provides a divine exchange. He removes the filthy garments and clothes us in righteousness. This isn’t symbolic; it’s transformational.
So we walk by faith, not by fear. We reject the lies of shame and embrace the truth of God’s strength. We must be people of the Spirit and not fulfil carnal desires, we break free from every limitation and step boldly into the identity He has secured for us.
You are not defined by shame. You are clothed in grace. Walk free.
Are you Free?
Remember…
No more silence. No more shame. Victory is ours!

Join Us
We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
