Good Friday – God’s Grace, Wisdom and Power at Work

Theme: The Easter Story and The Triumphs of CalvaryThe name Good Friday holds deep meaning. Historically, the word “good” was used to describe something holy or pious, and this day embodies that significance in the Christian faith.

On Good Friday, Jesus Christ willingly gave His life on the cross—a moment of unimaginable suffering, yet one that fulfilled God’s redemptive plan for humanity. Through His sacrifice, salvation and forgiveness became available to all who believe.

God’s Grace, Wisdom, and Power Were at Work!

The Bible reveals the depth of this divine exchange:
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” — 2 Corinthians 5:21
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’” — Galatians 3:13

The story of Easter and the victory of Calvary unveil God’s multi-dimensional work through Jesus Christ:
Grace—His unmerited favor and redemption are available today.
Wisdom—His divine plan continues to unfold for those who seek Him.
Power—His transformative strength is accessible to all who believe.

You, too, can receive His grace, wisdom, and power through Jesus Christ!

Pastor Emmanuel Mbakwe unpacks the Good Friday message in a way that brings clarity and understanding—revealing how deeply God’s love and sacrifice continue to shape lives today.

Join Us

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
