Reach Africa prayer points.
From the 53 nations that make up Africa, we can think in terms of 4 main regions. South, East, West and North.
We can concentrate our mission prayer times towards the Southern and Eastern nations on this occasion.
South: S.Africa/Zimbabwe/Mozambique/Malawi.
East: Kenya/Tanzania/Rwanda/S. Sudan.
Several prayer points are equally relevant to all the nations, and others are specific.
Africa South
S. Africa: has several Apostolic nations established. Pray for connection, collaboration and partnership between them.
Mozambique: Continuing progress as many churches are being planted. Soon, there will be a change to the National Leadership. Pray for the Ps Marcos Binda and the Executive as they seek God’s will.
Zimbabwe: Pray for the partnership between them and Ghana. For a newly agreed strategy to see the church advance in mission and structure.
Malawi: as the youngest autonomous nation, pray for resources for their leadership training and church planting programmes.
They have two leadership teams, the Administration and Spiritual Leadership teams. They value our prayer support.
Hunger is a continual struggle after Cyclone Freddy devasted many areas—resources to repair 21 damaged church buildings.
1 in 5 have acute hunger needs.
Poverty is significant, with the currency recently devalued by another 44%.
Africa East
Kenya: Pray for the National Leader Apostle John Murunga, who carries much responsibility in Kenya and throughout the region. Transport costs are a challenge.
Leadership training and materials are a matter for prayer support.
Tanzania: The main church collapsed, and they are seeking help of £1000 to build a temporary structure, especially as they are now in the rainy season. The government won’t allow them to use school rooms for church services.
Posian Martin is the National Leader for this critical National. There is a great need for leadership training.
S. Sudan: These are early days, and God is opening a door. Pray for gospel opportunities, especially as Kenya seeks to make connections. This is a strategic nation.
