What does it mean to please the Lord?
Our lives will please the Lord!
- Ask the Lord to forgive us (in areas where we have not pleased the Lord)
- Teach us, help us, and set a deep desire to please You. “Teach me your ways!”
- Give us a teachable spirit
- Forgive us in areas where we have not pleased you
- Give us a deep desire for holiness
- Help me to love what You love.
- Strengthen us to obey you
Joshua 24:15- “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

- Speak out in tongues and pray that God will teach us how to delight ourselves in Him
- Pray concerning “Delighting ourselves in the Lord”. “I take practical delight in serving the Lord.”

- Practical delight in the Lord is to serve!
Lamentations 3:21-26- the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. Would you consider that as someone delighting themselves in the Lord?

- Confront me for my actions. Search me and know me.”
