Declare “Who is like You among the gods? It is a declaration of the pre-eminence of our Father.

  1. Ask the Lord to silence anything that stands against you.
  2. Praise God that we have access to the throne of Grace through the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ.
  3. Ask the Lord to touch us all – “I have come to be touched by the Lord.”

Do You Please The Lord?

What does it mean to please the Lord?
Our lives will please the Lord!
  • Ask the Lord to forgive us (in areas where we have not pleased the Lord)
  • Teach us, help us, and set a deep desire to please You. “Teach me your ways!”
  • Give us a teachable spirit
  • Forgive us in areas where we have not pleased you
  • Give us a deep desire for holiness
  • Help me to love what You love.
  • Strengthen us to obey you

Joshua 24:15- “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

  • Our marriages will please the Lord.
  • My ministry will please you, Oh Lord.
  • Cause my life to please you.
  • Pray for those who are sick: “The Lord sent forth His word and healed them.”
  • Lord, touch those who are sick
  • Command every form of sickness to be gone.
  • Praise God for answered prayer and lift Pastor Sackey in prayer

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart…

What does it mean?
  • Speak out in tongues and pray that God will teach us how to delight ourselves in Him
  • Pray concerning “Delighting ourselves in the Lord”. “I take practical delight in serving the Lord.”

  • Reflect/recall on the things it has brought you through… to delight
  • Practical delight in the Lord is to serve!

Lamentations 3:21-26- the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. Would you consider that as someone delighting themselves in the Lord?

  • “Lord, please challenge me?”
  • “Provoke me to accountability” – What have you done?
  • Lord convict me
  • Confront me for my actions. Search me and know me.”
  • Friends hold one another accountable.
  • Will you take offence when someone challenges?
  • Pray on this. Comply, Submit, Surrender
  • Shut yourself in-Matthew 6:6
