Prayer
Pray that the Power of the Holy Spirit will descend over our prayer meeting.
Begin with praise. He is responsible for all the blessings we receive, perceived or otherwise.
Hymn: Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross (reflective alternative)
Ask to be drawn near The Cross. Pray that the shadow of the Lord will cover you as you walk.
Consider all your family and friends. Intercede on their behalf so that they may receive the message of salvation.
Pray for the sick and the ill this morning. Declare a healing word over them and speak life into their lives.
Spiritual Song: He Will
Consider the Following in your Times of Prayer
Experiences in corporate prayer with music in the background
Let your incense fill the room
Let your fire burn ever so bright on the altar
Let your spirits soar so high
The glorious presence of the Lord fill the air, the temple etc
Let there be the sound of mighty waters
So full of majesty
So rich
So free
So liberating
Deeply calling unto deep
Diving deep
Soaring so high
Such beauty
Such power
O so lovely
O so enriching
Just to be in His presence and changed from glory to glory
Deepening mental, spiritual and emotional thoughts and experience
This is Holy Ghost inspired, Holy Ghost conducted prayer who can cease to sing His praise.
Alleluia
May our eyes and minds and thoughts and spirit be opened up to revelation of the things of God
Laid bare before Him who sits on the throne
Embraced by Him
possessed with Him
Consumed by Him
Till all your living alters claim
One holy light, one heavenly flame
Open my eyes Lord
Want to see Jesus
To reach out and to touch him
To say that I love Him
Open my ears Lord and teach me to listen
Biblical Characters to Emulate
Attendees brought forth their examples of emulateable Bible characters.
Consider the following:
Where are the locust-eating, roughly clothed, easily identifiable, so powerfully anointed men and women of God?
Who goes into the desert and returns with the very presence of God with them?
Who wants to pay the price?
Those who dare to be different, willing to rise up, and who dare to be different.
Homework
Please continue to think of a Biblical character that you could emulate.
Think of someone to do something good to this week.
