Prayer
Take time to praise God. Do not ask for anything. Give thanks.
Pray for peace around the world in areas where war is causing distress.
Some have had to travel to bury loved ones. Ask the Lord to grant mercy and strength and a safe return home.
Intercede on behalf of those who are sick.
Pray for strength to stand firm in times of distress.
God’s Deliverance
Take time to acknowledge that God’s hand is on your life.
Pray for:
- Those who are being terrorised in the workplace.
- Those who are seeking live partners.
- Those who are looking for accommodation.
Do You Accept the Blessing of Others?
Consider the scripture: Genesis 49 – specifically the blessing of Joseph v 22-26. How did his brothers feel about this blessing by Jacob on Joseph? How do you feel when someone else is blessed in church? Consider the consequences and seek the Lord to remove such emotions from your life.
