Prayer
Chorus: Lion of Judah!
Take time to praise God. Worship Him as the Lion of Judah, the Holy One of Israel!
Thank God for the breath we take and the miracle of life. We woke up this morning with a new chance to live, grow, and connect.
Praise the Lord for health and the ability to enjoy life. Give thanks for healing and resilience in times of sickness and struggle.
Thank God for provisions. We have food, water and shelter and the basic needs, along with jobs, resources and opportuinities.
Praise Him for the gift of walking in faith. We have guidance and blessings walking in His instruction and the instruction of those He sends to minister.
Give Him thanks for opportunities to start afresh. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
Pray for those affected by the flash floods in Spain.
Restless Spirits
Pray for troubled, restless spirits.
Do I Really Fear God?
Hymn: My God How Wonderful Thou Art
How does your fear of God reflect in your behaviour?
Consider 1 Corinthians 5:11. This preaching is not accepted in this day and age. Yet, if the pastor or the elder does not say anything, do we really fear God? Consider also Isaiah 29:13.
Our God is a consuming fire. When will we see Him as such?
John 11:28-29 Why do we visit people? When you visit, do people know that the Spirit of God has come to see you? “He wants to see something happen in your life!”
Homework
“Be strong in the Lord”
As you go about your peaceful business – think about how, why, who, where, in being strong in the Lord. Write something down and bring it.
