Society needs the Peace of God! Peace is absent from nation vs nation to family member vs family member. Consequently, we pray and struggle to bring peace to society around us, even to the point of praying for our enemies. As it is said “God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.” Psalm 67:7
Heb 6:9 – “things that accompany salvation” – What are the things that are showing in your life? It is said “By their fruits, you shall know them.”
2 Peter 1:1-11 – What is missing? The World is full of corruption and we have none of these things when we come to the knowledge of God, therefore we must add these wonderful things (virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love) to our faith. We pray continually for the strength and wisdom to add to our faith.
Teaching – The Banner of Peace by Elder Charles
“But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.” – Luke 10:5-6
Elder Charles spoke to us on the matter of “The Banner of Peace!” (quoting Isaiah 9, Luke 2:14, Romans 5:1, John 14, Eph 2:14, Phil 4:6-8)

- The Lord will lift up His banner over them
- The covering of Jesus Christ over all the organizers
- The Lord will protect every participant from every trick of the enemy
- The going our will not be in vain, but in success for the blessing of all they meet
- The peace of God will come on all who respond to those who go out
- Every participant will have grace on the lips, with words seasoned with salt
- The Lord will give all participants a tongue of the learned
- The word from our mouth will be a tree of healing
- All who venture out will not have the spirit of fear
- The team will return with great joy and testimonies
- The outreach will glorify the name of the Most High God!
