Saturday Morning Prayer – The God who Provides

All who joined this morning’s prayer meeting brought encouragement. Many contributed to the banquet of prayer and wisdom this morning!

Homework for next week’s prayer meeting

Consider this question: What are the Ties that Bind?

The Yoke is placed on the shoulder of oxen so that they may cooperate to achieve the farmer’s goal. Consider 1 Corinthians 10, Deuteronomy 2. Surely God’s promises will come to pass, but our choice is the long or short road!

Bro John Livingston brings the Word next week. Nevertheless, we encourage all to bring their insights.

Word of Encouragement

Sis Tinu Oni brought us a word: “Consolidating our needs: The God who Provides!”

Bringing your Firewood

We encourage everyone to share! “Perhaps in the week past there have been thoughts that have occurred to you!” How blessed we are to have the Lord to speak to us in our daily lives!

Food for Prayer

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,” – 1 Timothy 2

Pray for:

  • The health of the Queen, who has mild COVID symptoms.
  • Those who are sick. (Ps 30:2, Jer 17:4) Ask the Lord to heal the sick amongst us.
  • Ukraine – the believers there will find comfort and peace, and be able to share it with others.
  • Ukraine – the bereaved families, the wounded and displaced.
  • Ukraine – Christians in the military, that God will guide them in the testing of their faith.
  • Ukraine – for peacemakers on the ground, seeking to defend life and liberty.
  • the Building Project (Prov 16:3, Neh 2:20) that it will succeed, and that the Lord will prosper us.
  • Our Children (Isa 8:18, Ex 12:13) that they will be for signs and wonders, and that the Lord will hide them from the enemy under the blood of Jesus, their Passover lamb!
  • Yourself (Prov 10:22) that the Lord’s blessing will be over you, with no sorrow in it!
  • This afternoon’s outreach, that the Banner of God will go ahead of them and accompany them.
  • Those encountered this afternoon that they may be receptive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Those going out, that they may be a tree of life that brings healing.
  • Those going out, that the spirit of fear may be banished and that they may be bold.
