Saturday Morning Prayer – The Fear of the Lord

Do you know the fear of the Lord? Does it influence your behaviour? Join us as we seek the face of the Lord in reflections. The Saturday Morning Prayer meeting is ready to receive like-minded hearts.

The meeting runs from 8 am to 10 am. You can find Zoom details on this page.

Remember to join the War Room Prayer and the Youth War Room Prayer.

Prayer

Give thanks to the Lord, for there is nothing for which we cannot give thanks.

Every accusing word should be rebuked. Ask the Lord to cover your ears so that you can reject and silence every accusation and slander.

A wrong word can shatter confidence. Pray for healing for those who have found themselves naked (considering last Sunday’s message: If you should ever see me naked!) Ask the Lord to speak His grace of them. Let His grace be sufficient for them. May they hear it and know it.

Some of us are sick. Pray they will experience a “quickening” (a making alive) this morning and that the Lord will touch them this morning.

Consider the wars happening around the world right now. Pray that the Lord will bring peace in war-torn areas.

The Fear of the Lord

We discussed the Fear of the Lord.

Do you fear God? Are there things you are doing that perhaps you should not? 2 Samuel 6:9 – David was afraid of the Lord after making a mistake concerning the Ark of the Lord.

Do we fear people rather than God? Some people come with influence, gossip and strength of character to insult unless they follow. Such people have no fear of God.
