Spiritual Song: Spirit of the Living God

  • Thank the Lord for the Holy Spirit – our Comforter, our Guide sent by God.
  • “Transform us, Lord, in all things so that we do not impede Your work within us”.
  • We will stay aware of the Holy Spirit’s ongoing infilling and guidance towards God’s will.
  • We allow the Holy Spirit to operate within us, and we commit daily to yielding to His leadership.
  • The gift of God in our lives will manifest fully.

“All thy works shall praise thy name. Only thou art holy, there is none beside thee” (Holy, Holy Holy)

Questions

  1. These days, do I know where my Bible is? When was the last time you went to church and they asked, “Lift up your Bible,” but not anymore, because it’s all on our iPads or phones.
  2. Has this has an effect on our lives? Should we bring our physical Bibles to church?
  3. I wonder if one would continue doing something when the effects of their actions are made clear to them. Especially the destructive, divisive and devastating effects on the family, the church, etc. (We are talking about a Christian here.)
    • We cannot justify ourselves before God, let God be true and everyman a liar”

Express how you feel before God in prayer.
