Service Start Time to Change from Sunday, 4 June 2023

Notice of change of the ANC In-Person service start time, effective Sunday, 4 June 2023

The ANC presbytery has reviewed her service offerings since the return to in-person service. They have become acutely aware of the impact of the 12 midday congestion charge on our services.

We recognise and yearn for worthwhile services, ministry and fellowship, but this has not been possible. We rush through our services, and attendees rush off after the 11.30 am finish to avoid the £15 charge.

We need to allow time for what makes us a family church. We need to make time for the dedication of babies, acknowledge significant birthdays, welcome newly married couples, etc.

There is also the need to offer the ministry of laying on of hands and prophecies. Not to mention the need to remove the time limitation on the ministry of the Word of God. This ministry is a hallmark of the spiritual machinery of the All Nations Centre, The Apostolic Church.

Therefore, from Sunday, 4 June 2023, our main worship services will start at 9.30 am and close on or before 11:30 am. The added 30 minutes will be distributed across the various Sunday morning ministries as the occasion demands.

Please kindly note that as we start our Sunday service offerings with prayer meetings, our Sunday prayer meetings will start at 9 am instead of 9.30 am as it is currently

Our desire is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church in a meaningful and satisfying way.

We recognise the impact this will have on our Sunday morning “lie-in” time, but we also heed the words of King David (2 Samuel 24:24):

“No, I insist on buying it, for I will not present burnt offerings to the LORD my God that have cost me nothing.” (New Living Translation)

Let us not allow our service to the Lord to be determined by the congestion charge. We have seen some answers to our prayers on this issue. Let us intensify our prayers for the Sunday congestion charge restrictions to be further adjusted for good or even totally removed. Our God is able!

Jesus Christ declared: “I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

We therefore invite you to join us in fulfilling our part in this declaration of our Lord and Saviour by laying an extra 30 minutes on the altar of sacrifice.

We are counting on your unflinching devotion and loyalty to the service of the Lord at the All Nations’ Centre.

Shalom

A Sackey
