THEME: Ownership Matters – Pastor George Udoh called us to take ownership of our family in today’s service. Taking his lead from 1 Samuel 13:1-19 (which you can read by clicking here), he encouraged us to Pursue, Overtake and Recover. There are many attacks on our families and family life. Therefore, we must not hesitate to fight for our family. The sermon can be listened to on Spotify:
Time of Giving Thanks
After the service, we stood with Sister Susan Ezeji and her family and prayed for them. They came to thank God for how the Lord supported them in their time of trouble. It was a blessing to see her children visiting with us today.
We also celebrated with Sister Gina Rattigan, who celebrated her 70th birthday this week.
Accordingly, in fulfilment of Romans 12:15, we affirmed God’s great love for us in both circumstances.
