The Disciplines, Dimensions and Dynamics of Prayer

The Disciplines, Dimensions and Dynamics of Prayer

Theme: The Disciplines, Dimensions and Dynamics of Prayer – How is your prayer life? It is time to deepen it! The book by E M Bounds “Purpose in Prayer,” inspired this subject. (You can access E. M. Bounds’ works on prayer freely online.) We grow into a good prayer life by being disciplined and regularly praying. This is sound doctrine.

Of the many statements made by E M Bounds, consider these: Prayer, in one phase of its operation, is a disinfectant and a preventive. It purifies the air; it destroys the contagion of evil. Prayer is deathless! Do you want to be a true hero of God? Pray! Prayer has caused many might convulsions on the Earth!

If you want examples of powerful prayer, consider Samson’s prayer – Judges 16:18. Listen to what powerful men of God have to say about prayer: “Prayer requires strength!” “Prayer is where the action is!”

What is the dimension of prayer? It is the realms, areas, and territories where prayer is effective. What are the dynamics? The power, effect, and manifestations of prayer. These will be discussed in full in the coming weeks.
