Theme: The Disciplines, Dimensions and Dynamics of Prayer – Jesus’s teachings to His disciples are the gears of prayer.
Key scripture: Luke 11:5-8
Jesus tells us: Do not stop until the answer comes. A delay is not a denial. The Father wants you to know how much you need it. Some of us give up when we pray after a short time. You might be so close to your blessing when you give up! In the parable, he gave up for the peace of his friend. Isaiah instructs, “And give Him no rest till He establishes, And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” This is how we should pray. Let impossibilities fly before you, for nothing is impossible with God.
Key scripture: Luke 11:9-10
This promise is for everyone, not for pastors or prayer warriors, but for everyone. Just as a car’s gears need to be changed according to the condition of the road, so the gears of prayer need to change according to the conditions of your situation.
