An urgent request has been received from the National Leader of our sister church in Malawi. Twenty-one Apostolic churches have been completely destroyed, and 6000+ church members are homeless and need urgent help.
The nations of Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe have again been hit hard with the effects of climate change. Against the recent history of two cyclones the growing season has been devastated with continuous rain and flooding washing away maize gardens and homes. Pastor Nguleti of Malawi reports, “Roads and bridges are washed away. Electricity poles have fallen and houses are falling like mangoes. The walls around Pastor Skene’s old house have fallen.” Devastatingly, costs for maize has increased to out of reach prices. This is a great challenge in the Malawi church’s first year of autonomy. Similarly, for our church family in Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
