Theme: Let Us Continue To Pray Steadfastly – As we conclude this powerful series, Ps Emmanuel Mbakwe teaches on how apostolic authority and the revelation that is released in prayer. This week’s message draws from Ephesians 1:15–23, reminding us that everything in prayer flows from, through, and in Christ, because all authority is vested in Him.
Paul wanted the Church in Ephesus to grasp this truth fully. Consequently, he prayed for them to receive a deeper revelation of Christ, so they could enter into the blessings, authority and spiritual insight that flow from Him. First, he gave thanks for their faith; then he interceded for their growth, maturity and understanding. In the same way, when we gain a proper revelation of who Christ is, we confidently appropriate the authority He has already given us.
Moreover, the three biblical examples referenced in the message (Acts 16:16–18; Acts 3:1–10; Matthew 21:12–17) show how apostolic authority operates in the mission field, in the place of prayer and in the house of prayer. Through them, we see that:
- We discern, expose and expel demonic spirits, and we transform the economic landscape of those involved.
- We confront and stop evil practices in the Church, bringing purity back to God’s house.
- We see long‑standing conditions; physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual, healed through the mighty name of Jesus!
As we reflect on this final message in the series, let us continue to pray with boldness, because Christ has already given us access to His authority. When we pray with revelation, we move in alignment with His will, and therefore we see His power at work in every area of life.

Apostolic Authority and Revelation in Prayer
Join Us
We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
