Jesus, The Bread of Life
In today’s culture, Easter is often shaped more by chocolate eggs, painted shells, bunnies, and hot cross buns than by the story of Jesus Christ. Yet for Christians, Jesus remains at the very centre of Easter.
Bread carries meaning in every culture, but what did Jesus mean when He called Himself the “bread of life”? What does that image say about who He is and what He offers?
This Easter, we’ll explore these questions and more as we refocus on the One at the heart of the season.
Good Friday Service
This will be taking place in-person and followed by tea and hot cross buns. For those unable to make it in you can join us online.
WSGAF
What’s So Good About Friday offers youth/young people the opportunity to renew their understanding of the meaning of Good Friday. The evening will feature praise and worship, fellowship with young people from outside ANC as well as a word from a special guest. We hope that everyone leaves the event with gratitude and thanksgiving to God for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Doors open at 6pm. Stay locked into the announcements and our social media pages as more information on this powerful event will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
