Building a Prayer Altar with Wisdom

We are building a prayer altar with wisdom.

Key Scriptures: Proverbs 24:3-4, Proverbs 4:7

Elder Eddie: Praying for the Nation and its Leaders

There is so much fear at the moment because of the economic downturn, war, disease, and even UFOs. We pray that God would deliver this nation from fear. There is also a fear among Christians, with street preachers being arrested and people losing their jobs for wearing crosses. Pray that we see the Lord as He is, the delivered who is for us and not against us.

Authority has structure. Pray that God’s Kingdom comes and that His will be done on Earth as in heaven. For leaders, pray that their heart will be in the hand of the Lord.

Bro Michael: Praying for all angelical activities in the year 2023

Isaiah 61:1 – Pray for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit upon us as we prepare to share the Gospel. We also need wisdom as we plan for outreach activities. We understand that the Lord has provided all we need. Therefore, pray for individual anointing as we make ourselves available for mission.

2 Corinthians 3:15-17 As we reach out, and as many accept Christ, that they turn their hearts to Christ. We also pray that the veil may be removed from those who hear. People do not listen to sound reasoning any more. Prayer, therefore, that signs and wonders may accompany the gospel as we carry it to our communities and to the nation.

Building a Prayer Altar with Wisdom

Pastor Sam spoke on the main topic.

Deacon Billy: On building a prayer altar

First of all, we give thanks to God for Christ who set us free, and for the Holy Spirit who guides and leads us. We bring our bodies, our families before God, asking for forgiveness for anything that causes us to stumble. The Holy Spirit is able to show us the areas we need to expose, confess and deal with.

We pray asking that the Holy Spirit show us the right thing to do, and the right time to do it.

Pray for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, and that we would know the presence of God wherever we pray. We need to carry that prayer altar wherever we go.

Reverend Ajibola: For healing

Isaiah 40:1-2, Isaiah 49:13

We pray for the bereaved, that the Lord, through the Holy Spirit will comfort them. With many positive declarations we speak healing and truth into the lives of all who are sick.

Elder Sam Aiyere: Families and our Finances

The Lord established the family in the beginning.

Psalm 91:10 – Pray this verse into reality in the life of your family. Our children, our families should know the blessing of God, without stagnation, without delay. We should find ourselves protected by the Lord.

Bro Theo – MOT and Men’s Activities.

Psalm 91:1 We give thanks for the program last year.

The men’s leadership team is essential, therefore we pray for the team that they and their families may be protected and strengthened. As in Galatians 6:9, we pray they will not grow weary.

The organisation of events requires much guidance, the speaker, the location, the resources. We pray they have wisdom to complete that.

Bro Sheehy – Refurbishment of the Building and our Hearts

Pray for the completion of the refurbishment work in the building, and that as we consider the building work, we should understand the work in our lives. We should not rush in, but walk considering our foundations, making a full end of all our preparations.

There will be plenty of need for workers when we return to in-person service. Pray that the Lord will reveal to us the things that need putting away, that we me set time aside for service in the church.
