Theme: Let Us Continue To Pray Steadfastly – In this weeks message, Elder Soji Oguntonade:
- Helps us understand what it means to “Labour in Prayer’
- Explores some “Dimensions of Labour” that we can adopt in our prayer life
- Gives practical application tips: moving from a “Casual (or perfunctory)” to a “Labour-flavoured” prayer life
Prayer is not casual conversation with God, it is spiritual labour that produces spiritual maturity. Most believers pray, but few labour in prayer. In the text for this week we look at the example of Epaphras found in Col 4:12, Epaphras didn’t just pray occasionally, he agonised for people consistently until God’s will was formed in them.
Church, today, God is not calling you to pray longer, He is not calling you to call louder, He is calling us to pray deeper. Deeper dimensions, unrelenting labour, staying before God until what He wants is formed in what we’re praying about.”
If you are looking for opportunities to join in corporate prayer, you can log on to our weekly Saturday Morning Prayer Meeting, which runs from 8–10 am, or join our monthly War Room.

Dimensions of Labour in Prayer
Join Us
We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.
There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss the opportunity to meet with God and be transformed.
