Theme: Let Us Continue To Pray Steadfastly – This month’s theme is a continuation of the theme last month, where we focus on prayer. We are encouraged to pray steadfastly, to pray dutifully and resolutely.
Prayer should hold prime position in the life of every believer. God loves to join His children – born again bible believing Christians – in prayers because prayer is dialogue with Him. He desires to assist in their prayers by pouring out a spirit of grace and supplication (Zechariah 12:10). He desires your company or fellowship and that is why the Holy Spirit dwells within.
In today’s message taken from Ephesians 6:18, Ps Abraham Sackey urges us to take steps to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers, to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), for the fire of prayer to never go out (Leviticus 6:13) and for us to remain fervent in spirit (Romans 12:11).
