Identity, Duty and Responsibility

Theme: We Are Family – Identity, duty and responsibility? How do they relate to family, and why are they important?

Key scripture: Genesis 14:5-16, Genesis 18:17-19

Every family has an identity which is connected to its history and narrative. Beliefs, values, practices, stories, and celebrations shape family culture. Every family member has a duty and responsibility to maintain the cohesion and well-being of the family. A strong family brand is built on trust, a function of excellent performance over time.

When a crisis hits, the family that sticks together wins together. If this is something you want, discover the detail in this sermon by Pastor Emmanuel Mbakwe:

Join Our Family

Appearing Before The Lord as Families 2023

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, there is personal ministry that only occurs when you are in person – Do not miss out!
