Know What You Have

Know What You Have And Use What You Have

Theme: Be Strong in The Lord – Do you know what you have? The Lord provides resources for His people, just as he did for David facing Goliath.

(Join us for Christmas!)

Key scripture: 1 Samuel 17:31-47

The main points are:

  1. Walk in Obedience: David’s obedience to his father and God led him to a destiny-defining encounter. Walking in obedience to God’s will is essential for accessing His strength.
  2. Live Purposefully: David’s life was driven by God’s mission for him. Living a purposeful life aligned with God’s plan brings strength and victory.
  3. Refuse Discouragement: David was not intimidated by his detractors, including his elder brothers and King Saul. He relied on his past experiences of God’s deliverance to stay strong.
  4. Recognize Spiritual Warfare: David understood that the battle against Goliath was not just physical but spiritual. Recognizing the spiritual dimension of challenges is crucial for victory.
  5. Use Your Testimony: David recounted his past victories over a lion and a bear to bolster his confidence. Sharing testimonies of God’s past faithfulness strengthens faith.
  6. Reject Irrelevant Tools: David refused to use King Saul’s armor, recognizing it as unsuitable. Instead, he relied on his own tools and God’s anointing.
  7. Engage the Enemy Supernaturally: David boldly declared his trust in God and engaged Goliath on a supernatural plane, invoking God’s power.
  8. Inspire Others: David’s victory inspired the Israelite soldiers to rise in faith and courage, leading to a broader victory.

Be strong in the Lord by knowing and using what God has provided, drawing lessons from David’s life to apply in your own.

Know What You Have And Use What You Have

We Are Stronger Together

We meet in person at the All Nations’ Centre, Tyers Terrace, London SE11 5LY. You are very welcome to join us. All our Sunday Services start at 9.30 am. The doors open at 8.30 am, and the prayer service begins at 9 am. The All Nations’ Centre is where the community meets with God as a congregation. Please help us to make it a welcoming environment for all.

There are many advantages to meeting together. As the writer of the book of Hebrews writes, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) Do not miss this opportunity to meet and encourage your brothers and sisters! Often, we provide personal ministry and one-to-one encounters. Do not miss out on an opportunity to meet with God and be transformed. Do not miss out!

Christmas is almost upon us. Join us for our Christmas celebrations.
