Make Your Life Count for Something Good

Make Your Life Count for Something Good

THEME: Practical Everyday Ownership Matters – Do you make your life count for something good? Pastor Ebenezer Olokode gave us that challenge! With the support of many scriptures, he challenged us to walk as Jesus walked. Christians must be Christlike and walk in a way that portrays their faith. This includes how we treat our brothers and sisters.

Every one says forgiveness is a lovely idea, until they have something to forgive – C S Lewis

Taking from a wide range of sources and examples, he proved that we must make a difference in our lives.

Being our Brother’s and Sister’s Keeper

We stood with and prayed for Bro Simeon in remembering the loss of his wife. Pastor Emmanuel Mbakwe led the prayer and called us to recognise that the Lord brings comfort and says, “It is well,” even in troubled times.

Chijioke Jim-Lawson and Lanre Yebovi

We recognised and prayed for Chijioke Jim-Lawson and Lanre Yebovi today. They celebrated their birthday over Easter and the Presbytery, by the hand of Deaconess Gbemi, presented a gift. Reverend Ajibola prayed for them.

Bro Michael Abiona

Continuing the celebrations, Pastor Victor Jibuike led the prayers for our brother Michael Abiona who reached his 60th birthday. He gave a testimony of how the Lord has kept him throughout his life.

The Lord is good to all, and we stand with our brothers and sisters in good times and hard. Praise the Lord!
